Typically, each week’s share consists of 7–13 types of organically-grown vegetables, enough for a family of two to four people—depending on how many vegetables you eat. Over the course of a season, members may get at least 40 different types of vegetables, always fresh-picked and seasonal.
Early in the season will be more leafy greens. Much depends on the weather.
About the Fruit Share
The fruit share will consist of approximately 6–7 lbs of tree fruit each week for 14 weeks, to include apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, plums and maybe cherries. Fruit season will be from mid to late July to the end of October, although there will be weeks when no fruit will be distributed. The fruit is not organic.
